How to Take Great Pictures

Donna Boyer of cndfinds shares her secrets for taking great photos for eBay listings.  Good news -- you can use your phone; you don't need to buy a fancy camera.

Tips for Taking Great Pictures:

  1. Have a clean background.  No dirt.  No clutter in the background.
  2. Use a hangar or a mannequin when photographing clothing.  Don't use a bed or the floor.
  3. Make sure that clothing isn't wrinkled.
  4. Make sure clothing flows naturally.
  5. Take lots of measurements (front, back, sleeves, waist, length of leg)
  6. Clean up shoes ahead of time.
  7. Use all of the free pictures that eBay gives you and take lots of angles (bottom of shoes, front, back, size tag).
  8. Upload your photos right to the eBay app to save space on your phone.  (You can edit your photos in the app.)
